Details: The steamboat Ticonderoga sailed Lake Champlain for almost 50 years. Built in Vermont in 1906, the "Ti" was a combination of engineering mastery, style and refinement. But by 1950, steamboats were obsolete. The Shelburne Museum acquired the ship and had it hauled two miles overland to the museum grounds where it was meticulously restored. This video tells the story of that final voyage and restoration.
