Details: The Sound Shark is a great alternative to shotgun microphones. The Sound Shark's collector amplifies sound by focusing sound energy onto a single point. This allows the Sound Shark to zero in on your subject while rejecting unwanted ambient noise. The Sound Shark is provided with a flash shoe adapter so it can be mounted directly to your camera. You can also remove the adapter and mount the Sound Shark to any device, such as a tripod or light stand, with a 1/4-20 threaded stud. Kits are also available that include a tested microphone and a wind cover. These kits are recommended as the microphone has been proven to work well with the Sound Shark.
