Review The well-established Moon guidebook series has recently changed its format to fit the needs of today's travelers who have less time.  Instead of extensive listings mostly for globe-trotting budget travelers, the new Moon Handbooks now provide fewer but more selective listings for a variety of budgets...  the books are more easily readable than other guides... making the Moon Handbooks one of the most user-friendly guides in terms of visual appeal and organization...  as the quality is uniformly excellent.  - Transitions Abroad - Guidebook of the Year, Travel Publishing News Awards,  Tahiti-Polynesia Handbook,  1990 - Bronze Lowell Thomas Award for Best Guidebook,   Moon Belize , 2005 - Fore Word   Book of the Year Awards, Honorable Mention, Travel Guides (Moon Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos), 2006 - Best Travel Series of the Year,   Booklist,  2007 From the Author Hi there! Thank you for your support, not only for this considering this book, but for supporting travel writing in general. Travel writing might sound like a glamorous or cool sort of job, but I promise you, most of it is hard work, long nights and lots (and lots, and lots) of walking around and chatting with people. Most days I get back just plain pooped and want nothing more than my bed and a good night of sleep! I've put a lot of work into this 2nd edition of the Moon Guidebook for Morocco and had a TON of support along the way. Whether it was my wife putting up with my traveling for weeks at time, new friends who took a moment to share a meal with me, old friends who took a moment to travel a bit with me, or some fantastic hotel owners and guides who have given me some great local tips, this is one of those kinds of books that doesn't come together well without a lot of help. I hope you find some good recommendations in these pages, some great places to eat, and most importantly, just enough tips to let you have all the adventure you want and feel comfortable knowing that you do have something to fall back on "just in case."  Feel free to reach out to me before your trip or even when you're in the country and I'll do my best to help out. Happy travels and bon voyage! Lucas About the Author In 2009,  Lucas M. Peters took a job in Morocco teaching literature and composition at a college in a small town atop the Middle Atlas Mountain
