Details: Liquid Rubber EPDM Primer is a rubber polymer water based roofing primer, and like its name; its been specifically designed for EPDM surfaces. EPDM Rubber is extremely hard to stick to without a quality Primer. This Primer does not react with atmospheric moisture allowing it to be opened and resealed for use at a later date.
Surface Preparation
All work surfaces should be clean, dry, and free of dirt, dust, debris, oils, silicone, loose coatings, deteriorated membranes, and other contaminants. Clean the surface with Liquid Rubber RV Smart Cleaner; rinse, allow to dry, and wipe down with acetone prior to applying the EPDM primer (a degreaser may be necessary if contaminated with grease or oils).
Do not use as a membrane cleaner; not to be used on TPO or PVC roof membranes. Do not apply later in the day if rain or dew is forecast and install above 10C (50F) and rising.
Storage: Store material in original unopened containers at temperatures between 40F - 90F/4C - 32C
