Details: The Vegvísir Ægishjálmr Stave Necklace features two magical Viking symbols. One side displays the Vegvísir symbol, sometimes referred to as a Viking Compass or Signpost. Vikings used this symbol to ensure that the wearer would never lose one's way in storms or rough weather, even when the way was not known. The other side carries the Ægishjálmr symbol, also known as the Helm of Awe. This stave was used by Vikings to inspire awe and strike fear into the wearer's enemies.
We have hand-casted, sanded, and patina-finished this pewter pendant. It comes strung on an adjustable black hemp cord. To adjust the length, just slide the knots into the desired positions. A perfect and unique gift for modern Vikings, Norse Mythology enthusiasts, and those with sensitive skin.
This piece is handcrafted rather than machined, so the one you receive may be slightly different than the photo, although we do our best to make them identical.
